1. Senior Software Tester
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced software tester. We are looking for a software tester with experience in manual and automated testing, creating test plans, test cases, test data etc., plus defect raising and tracking, experienced with Agile methodologies and tools, also comfortable with web applications and data processing techniques.

Essential Skills include:
- Advanced Test Automation development experience (Web driven)
- Manual testing and automated testing of complete business applications
- Design and maintenance of test harness
- Design and specification of test plans and test cases for component testing and for end to end system and regression test scenarios
- Deployment of J2EE application on to test harness
- Interrogation of back end databases, SQL, Oracle
- Microsoft Excel/Access for data processing and statistical data testing.
- Strong debugging, technical problem solving & analytical skills
- Ability to be inventive in working with Business Analysts to derive Acceptance Test Criteria and test specifications.
The Candidate will have:
- A degree level or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience as a software tester
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent initiative, attention to detail and an ability to work with a number of different technologies and quickly familiarise themselves with new systems
- Demonstrable experience in the use of industry standard testing tools, defect tracking systems etc
- An ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Logistics or Supply Chain experience advantageous.
Remuneration:
Dependent on experience but very competitive.
Location:
Drogheda is a 25 minute commute from Dublin city on the M1 motorway. Drogheda is also served by frequent commuter rail and bus services. Commuting from Dublin is against the normal flow of traffic into the city at peak times mornings and evenings, so travel times tend to be predictable with minimum hassle.

2. Senior Java/J2EE Developer
Armac Systems is an Irish company specialising in inventory optimisation solutions developed for the aerospace sector. Our proprietary software helps large airlines and aerospace maintenance companies to provision inventory in a complex environment where demand is uncertain. The solution was developed in collaboration with Irish Academic Institutions including DKIT, 4C and is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
The role:
Experienced Java / J2EE Developer required to assist the dynamic team of software professionals building innovative solutions for the aviation industry using the latest Java technologies.
This is a permanent full-time position.
The Candidate:

3. Business Analyst and Implementation Consultant
Fantastic opportunity for a professional with a good blend of IT and business analysis experience. We are looking for a Business Analyst/Implementation Consultant who will be responsible for delivery and implementation of Armac Systems’ solutions within high-profile client sites.
The role involves:
- Taking ownership and leading full implementation of Armac Systems’ solution within client sites
- Acting as the primary point of contact between Armac Systems and the customer during the implementation to help define requirements and manage the project scope and schedule
- Conducting business analysis of current data and processes and mapping to the future optimised state
- Managing expectations and change control.
This is a permanent full-time position.
Key personal skills required:
- Very strong numerical and analytical capabilities
- Effective problem solving skills
- Experience in documentation of business requirements
- Project management and workshop facilitation
- Excellent business acumen and knowledge of IT and its application to supporting business processes
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Capable of building strong client relationships.
Education and experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a business analyst essential
- Minimum education: Degree in a business or technical field
- Experience in implementing software

4. Junior Accountant
The role:
Fantastic opportunity for a junior accountant to join an exciting and growing software company based in Drogheda. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounts; Reconciliations, Credit Control as well as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Month End duties.
This is a permanent full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Booking and maintenance of all accounting records on accounting system
- Preparation of monthly management accounts from original books of entry through to trial balance
- Preparation and production of any other financial information
- Preparation of budgets; financial statements and reports
- Bank account maintenance including ensuring completeness of statement records/advice slips and full account reconciliation
- Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements, where relevant
- Preparation of the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority half yearly and annual returns where relevant
- Assistance in the preparation and submission of the annual corporation tax returns
- Ad Hoc duties as required.
Essential Skills include:
- 1-2 years general accounting experience

- Proactive individual who can identify and resolve problems and issues
- Systems - Have experience of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
